Outdoor patio & live music! Very pleased with my many experiences at El Patron! I was already happy with the location, food and service but now they have a patio AND LIVE MUSIC!!! Cedar Park needed a live music/patio restaurant. Also the 11am-8 pm Happy Hour is fantastic and hard to beat!
Good Margaritas! I like the patio, service was good, but the margaritas are awesome! I went there with some friends and we had appetizers and ritas. Frozen ritas were good and strong. It's a great mexican restaurant that has a great happy hour. It's a good place to hang out. We'll definitely go back!
Great Service, Great drinks, Great Food February 23, 2011 I am not sure if Cedar Park folks are just confused, but this place is NOT Tex-Mex...it's Mexican food. Really big difference. We got fantastic service, the food came fast, was genuine Mexican food (which is hard to find in Austin/Cedar Park) and the margaritas were delicious. I think people are coming here expecting super flavorful Tex-Mex and don't know what to do with legit Mexican food. I grew up in San Antonio and this is the food I expect when I go to a Mexican restaurant. The place was packed, and we still got seated within 20 minutes. I will say that the waiting area was not well thought out. It was a chilly night and there were too many people packed in like sardines at the front waiting for a table. Overall we had a great experience. Our server was an actual trained server, she was friendly, fast and she knew the menu. I couldn't ask for more from a server. The managers stopped by to check on us and they legitimately seemed to care if we were having a good experience. We will be back.
Excellent Customer Service and Great Food El Patron in Cedar Park has quickly become my husband and my favorite Mexican Restaurant. Ask for Alex and if his section is full ask for John. These young men strive to ensure you have a great dining experience. The margarita's are great and the extended happy hour is a nice way even those of us that work late can still enjoy the discount. Some of our favorites are the tamales, the fish taco's and the low carb plates featuring chicken or fish. Freshly made tortillas, great queso and chips!
LOVE IT Happy hour=$1 beer on draft, it doesn't get any better than that! Love the service, love the food. The service was very quick and we are always treated very well. Live music is a huge plus. Our favorite happy hour spot!
